Credit Opinion for CHPS Bond Released
Moody's Investor's Service has released their Credit Opinion for the Cherry Hill Public School District, as the district prepares to sell the bonds approved in a public vote on October 6, 2022.
Moody's has assigned the district a rating of Aa2, the third highest rating available.
The one "credit challenge" listed, "narrow reserve position compared to peers," reflects the fact that, by law, the school district is limited in how much money it can keep in reserve.
The full Credit Opinion is available online.
Moody's Rating Scale and Definitions are also available online.
