Degrees and Certifications:
Rosy Arroyo was sworn into the Board of Education in January 2020. She works for the Youth Services Commission as Administrator and Community Engagement Re-Entry Coordinator. Mrs. Arroyo oversees youth programs in Camden County, helping support initiatives that focus on improving students’ academics, health, safety and security.
A first-generation Mexican-American, Mrs. Arroyo earned her bachelor of arts in political science and economics from Rutgers University and her master of science in public policy from Drexel University with a certificate in sustainable building and green construction. She and her husband chose to settle in Cherry Hill for the great education provided by our schools.
Mrs. Arroyo sought her Board seat to contribute more directly to the Cherry Hill community. She believes that as our population is changing, the needs of our students and their families are changing. As a Board member, she plans to help ensure a quality education encompassing equitable, inclusive, diverse and safe academic environments for all of our children to prosper.
